What Is Foreplay?

If you were to ask me what is foreplay? My response would be something like this;

It is said that with human sexual behavior, foreplay is a set of intimate psychological and physical acts between two or more people, meant to build up sexual arousal. Foreplay takes place in preparation for sexual intercourse or another act meant to bring about mutual sexual gratification or orgasm. Isn’t that about how you would sum it up? I pondered that statement for a bit and while thinking about it, I opened an email from someone who shared with me what it is that he desires in a woman. He said to me today; “Foreplay does not start in the bedroom. It is in the way a woman’s hand is taken to walk down the steps, the pleasure that she gets knowing you will open a door for her, or pull out her chair. It is the joy she sees that you take in finding surprises that simply delicious her. It is  the thousand little gestures, a tone of voice, the subtle way you touch her arm or the back of her neck…romance and sensuality run deep in his soul. In my personal opinion, that was…Very well said!

For the longest time, foreplay was considered to be something that a man had to do to get his partner ready for sexual intercourse. It’s no longer just a mans world and we women like to play all the same. Today, foreplay has become an integral part of the whole lovemaking experience. It is true that impromptu sexual encounters without foreplay can sometimes be some of the best sexual experiences ever!

So, psychologically, foreplay lowers inhibitions and increases the emotional comfort level between partners. Physically, it helps to produce an erection in men, allowing them to penetrate an orifice, and it helps to promote vaginal lubrication in women, which allows penetration to take place comfortably. Foreplay can take many forms, and can take place, up to a point at least, in public. This kiss has many of the characteristics of foreplay; whether or not kissing is foreplay depends on where the couple goes from here.

If the potential partner accepts the sexual invitation, foreplay has begun. Accepting the invitation is often indicated by reciprocating with similar behavior.At some point, foreplay typically becomes physical. Simple and seemingly innocuous acts, such as straightening someone’s clothing or hair, bumping into someone while walking, stroking someone’s arm, or whispering in someone’s ear can constitute foreplay. Holding hands, other touching (especially of the face), kissing, biting, massaging, or scratching any area of the body can all qualify as foreplay.

There is no such thing as the ultimate foreplay, and it is not about pressing the right buttons in any particular order. There is no order. The direction you take is simply up to you and the mood tone.  It is about understanding what makes your partner get hot and delivering the things that make her experience intense pleasure. All women are different. None of us are the same. We all like what we like, and why not, we are women and part of being a woman is not always knowing what we want. What I do know is that when a man does something to make us feel good, we respond. Some women get off on being lightly kissed all over their necks while others enjoy direct oral stimulation.

There are many ways to give your partner extreme sensations, but one thing is for sure: It all begins in her brain. Women, just like men love to have our egos stroked too. What Do the Shoes Have To Do With Cinderella?

We all want the dream, but reality says it doesn’t always happen. Based on this fairy tale, Cinderella is a great example for young girls to follow. In view of hard times, even with those bitchy step sisters, she is still able to be positive. She is hard working and even when others mistreat her, she holds her head high and doesn’t attack them back, she is a true lady. She is her own person and has her strengths and her weaknesses. heck, she even has the right mind to be on time for a curfew, even if she is dancing the night away with the handsome prince. Somewhere hidden in the childhood of every person are fairy tales, and every woman wants the fairy tale ending…

It’s been what seems like an eternity since Cinderella put on that glass slipper and went out in search of her prince. Realistically, modern women started to wonder if the glass slipper was half-empty or half-full. Excuse me BUT…have you seen the shoes girls wear today? They are nothing at all like I ever wore. Back in the day brand names meant nothing. Now if you aren’t wearing Michael Kors, Gucci, Prada, Jimmy Choo (btw, my favorite) or Christian Louboutin some women look down upon you. Excuse me folks, but last time I watched Cinderella she had on old dirty flats. It’s not necessarily the shoe that creates the magic, it’s the confidence of the woman wearing them. Name brand or no brand, your attitude comes across through your every action.

It wasn’t until her fairy godmother came around using her ‘bibbity bobbity boo’ that her feet got so glamorous…without that stoke of magic, she would have never worn those glass slippers. These stilettos that I speak about are strutting shoes; made to last, made to dance the night away and give you 5 extra inches of confidence so you can look anyone in the eye and assert authority. They often come in colors that scream “Look at me!” and, with a toned leg/short-skirt combo, they make a room-stopping entrance.Often, they are simple classic black stilettos, so you can both show ‘em what you’re made of and then turn him on all in one night..and guess what? They don’t have to be expensive.They are a woman’s best ally: a weapon both inside and out of the bedroom. Like finding a good man, you should choose your shoe wisely.

 In comparison then, (my personal comparison) Men are like running shoes…Comforting, supportive, ready to go that extra mile. They intensify and give you energy, they adhere to you and keep you safe, and will always hold us up when we feel when we’re about to fall. “Running is the greatest metaphor for life, because you get out of it what you put into it.”  Is that not what a relationship is? How does your shoe fit?

 What is going to happen when this modern-day woman takes off her sexy strutting shoes at the end of the night and all she has are sore feet with no one to rub them? We don’t have a stroke of midnight curfew. Instead, there are times when we come home from another long day stand feeling worthlessly “empowered” (with BOTH shoes on) and no hope of Prince Charming returning a shoe to us. We all see the fairy tales rise and fall around us. Today, people are more shocked by the mythical “happy loving couple” than the ones with the drama and infidelity. Every day, relationships are becoming obsolete…but that does not mean that you should give up. As a hopeless romantic, I truly believe that still with all the BS you hear, there is a prince for everyone.

 Before you consider buying one more pair of expensive killer stiletto designer shoes, an outfit guaranteed “to turn his head” and a bottle of wine for that “get over him” party with your girlfriends, get out there and get your feet wet! My prince charming obviously took a wrong turn and got lost somewhere in that dark forest. Don’t let waiting for that one man stop you. Live your life. My grandmother used to say that love finds you when you least expect it to. Soooo, how do you get started? Well, geez, even Cinderella had a plan, and you should too!

 The Plan: If you did everything right up to this point you should both be planning a night out. Truth is if women and men did everything right I wouldn’t be writing this, but let’s just assume, shall we? Here is where it sometimes goes wrong… Guys- you ask a woman, “So what do you like to do?” Most of the time her response starts with, “I don’t know” and is followed by a list of cliché first date ideas. At this point most men will dim their creative side and go into standard mode. It’s true! Girlfriend…you just sent the message that you are a common woman who desires common dates. That’s exactly what you will get. Why not share your interests, he might enjoy them. Tell him your favorite places and things to do. It helps!

And fellas…contrary to popular belief, don’t expect women to put out because you took us out. Cinderella and her Prince Charming did not engage in premarital sex. Interesting concept! But why do modern-day Cinderella’s feel like sex is the only way to catch a man’s attention? DO NOT use sex to try to control him.One thing I have learned over the years is, that you can’t use sex to keep a man!  If he’s into you, he’s into you. The Importance of Saying “Thank You”

How valuable is the word thank you? Besides the universal smile as a symbol of kindness and warmth, the word thank you seems like such a simple expression yet in reality those two little words combine to make one of the most powerful and meaningful phrases in the English language. I have always believed that saying thank you can open the doors of opportunity, grow relationships and make both donor and recipient feel good.Thank You is more than just a phrase; you can turn these words into business opportunities. I was raised with morals and good values.I was taught that the word thank you was a symbol of gratitude. Saying “thank you” is very important in order to improve and maintain a good rapport with just about everyone, but in today’s world, it is especially important with clients.

  In recent research that I did, I found that there have been pieces written for years on the value of the thank-you note. It’s not new, yet so many people don’t know how, or when to say it. Why? This is something that was instilled in me as a child. Being kind to others and courteous was and still is my only way of life, and raising my own two children it became a part of their. Saying thank you is kind of like holding the door open for someone, yet so many people do neither. Please and thank you are two words that everyone should be saying on a daily basis, yet so many people don’t mutter them at all. I was also raised to say ‘yes ma’am’ and ‘yes sir’…again, so many people do not, and honestly I feel that it is quite rude and most disrespectful on so many levels when you don’t address people as such. Start using the words more frequently, and send out those thank you notes. You’ll be surprised at how it may change things in your life!

Yet, I talk with people on a daily basis involved in these simple words.Today, social media is everything and the social media network is constantly thinking of new ways to stand out of the crowd and gain more attention, and by saying thank you to everyone that covers it quite effectively I would think. For employers who interview candidates,  and those who help candidates…even those who are the candidates. It amazes me but it’s true; many of those  people in a job search still do not send thank-you notes! BIG MISTAKE!

I come from the age where thank-yous were an ingrained etiquette. How can you expect the interviewer to be excited about you if you don’t follow up? More importantly, if you don’t, you miss your chance to throw your name in front again, reiterate something you wanted to say more about and show your excitement. And here’s the deal. I haven’t done an official survey, but I can tell you that in years of preaching these simple words of gratitude I hear all the time from hiring decision-makers that one of the top reasons people don’t get the job (or even final cut) is because they didn’t appear to be that interested. Can you say disconnect?  Want my personal opinion here? A thank-you note or card is probably one of the most important tools you can have/use. They are a must post-interview! 

 Handwritten thank you cards may seem like a relic from our grandmother’s era but they are still alive and well today and if used effectively, can even be a great boost to your business!!!! If you have never considered sending anyone a thank you card, it is worth thinking about and what a great marketing tool a simple handwritten card can be. Do you want to stand out from the crowd and make a positive impression on a prospective client or business associate? Don’t we all want that? I believe that a thank you card might just be the answer! It’s cheap, easy and simple. Most of all it has so much meaning behind it. If you don’t send out thank you cards, you should! It’s not old fashion, it’s just the right thing to do!

Panties, Panties, Panties!

Personally, I find that I love sexy lingerie and all of my bras and panties match, as they should, nonetheless, there are times and I think every woman reading this can agree to that at times we like to just feel cozy and comfy and say screw the sexy part of it all…hey, not everyday, but maybe just one or two days a month. Men love panties! They like certain styles on their lady. Men find women alluring and sexy when she runs around in his polo button down and a little pair of boy shorts. You’ll have them melting gals!

Most women find they have several types of underwear in their draw for every possible need and occasion. Depending on who you are, you may not want anyone to see or know some of the underwear you actually have in there. Some days, sifting through your drawers for those particular panties can be a daunting task. It does not matter if you are looking for your favorite comfortable granny panties, your sexiest G-string, those sassy little boy cut panties, or those special panties for the monthly visitor. Figuring which ones to wear when and how to keep them organized to be able find them when needed is enough to give any normal woman a headache.  

So, how should you sort them out?

 Might I suggest buying some dividers that will fit in your panty drawer? When you do you now will be ready to put those underwear where they belong and find them when you need to. Here are a few tips that can help you categorize your panty draw.

 G-strings and Thongs: These are those sexy little numbers that on most days will be the panty of choice for many women. There are some slight differences in how they are designed but they can live in the same space as each other happily. G-strings really have no crotch to them, no matter what others tell you. Yeah that’s right, now crotch! This is dental floss with a frontal triangle attached. But man do they look hot and feel great. Thongs are the ones that actually have the crotch. Even though it is so narrow one wonders why it is there in the first place.

Briefs and Bikinis: This underwear will be the other most commonly used items if you happen to not be a thong or G-string kind of lady. Your briefs are the full front, back, and side underwear also referred to as granny panties. They are comfortable and can be used all month long unlike many other styles of underwear. The briefs cousin, the bikini is just a shorter version of the brief. It has a lower waist and higher leg cut. These types of panties give the old granny panties a little flare.

Boy Cut: My favorite! These are so cute that every woman has to have at least one pair, or ten.  They are so simple and comfortable it is not funny. The best part is that men find them irresistible. These underwear look like little mini shorts that show off the bottom of your butt cheeks. The great thing is these are sexy, comfortable, functional, and can be worn all month long! This is a style you just can’t go wrong with even if you tired.

 The ‘special’ monthly panties: These are just about any pair of panties that you can use during that one time of the month when your cycle comes to visit you. Usually these are the old, ragged underwear that you have collected through your lifetime that can no longer serve any other purpose. These are the ones that are all stained and tattered. You just cannot seem to get rid of them because they serve their function and keep all your other good underwear from a similar fate.

 Now you have all your panties in there proper places. At this point you are now seeing some of your spaces have less underwear than others in them. More than likely you are now going to go out and fill up each area with its proper amount of panties in that particular style. Sometimes organization can backfire sometimes and cause a spontaneous shopping spree! This time be adventurous and buy something neat. Fill those gaps with different designs of the same cut instead of buying nine pairs of the exact same thing in different colors. Before long you will have so many panties again you will be lost. At lest this time you will be able to resort them easier than you had to the first time. Good luck with all your underwear, you will need it!
